Introduction: The body of the blue round trevally is spindle shaped and slightly flattened. The mouth is large, with a conical shape and a row of fine teeth on both the upper and lower jaws. Fat eyelids are well-developed, extending to the front and back of the eye. The body is covered with small round scales, with a curved front and a straight back, and the straight part is covered with angular scales. The back of the body is blue gray, the abdomen is silver white, there is a black spot at the upper corner of the gill cover, and a white spot at the top of the front of the second dorsal fin. There is one small fin behind the second dorsal fin and one anal fin, and the tail fin is deeply forked.
